About Aggie Fund
Aggie Fund is an all volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing abortion access in Toledo and the surrounding areas. We believe abortion access is a fundamental part of reproductive health care and human rights.
Our purpose is simple. Ease financial barriers and keep abortion care safe and accessible.
Why This Work Matters
The cost of an abortion can be prohibitive and often includes travel and additional expenses. First trimester abortions typically cost between $600 and $800. When care is delayed, the cost significantly rises.
As restrictions increase and provider access decreases, people are required to travel greater distances. Mandatory waiting periods and transportation costs create additional financial barriers that make timely care more difficult to obtain.
Aggie Fund Impact
Most funding comes from individual donations. Every contribution is a direct step toward ensuring people can make reproductive decisions without financial barriers.

How To Help
The Aggie Fund was founded in honor of Agnes Reynolds Jackson, who was a committed community leader who consistently placed service above self. She founded the Fair Housing Center of Toledo and served on the Toledo Community Housing Resources Board.
She was actively involved with the ACLU and the League of Women Voters and worked in support of abortion rights and reproductive freedom.
Aggie passed away in 1984, and with the permission of her husband, Dr. Robert F. Jackson, this fund was named after Aggie. She is greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
